Grandparent Heaven

Grandparent Heaven...That is what my kids have been in the last month! About a week before all the company arrived I was putting Jax to bed and he said, "Mom, I've got some good news and some bad news...and some sad news." "OK, tell me." "Well the good news is that Grandma Leslie is coming to visit this week, the bad news is Grandma Shelly isn't coming to visit till after and the sad news is that Brody isn't coming to visit ever again!" (Brody is one of Jax's friends that recently moved to Utah!) It broke my heart what he said about Brody, but it made me laugh what he said about his "bad" news!! He wishes he could have all his grandparents all the time, all to himself!! And no offense to his namesakes-the kid is just a "Grandma boy"!

Anyhow below are a few pics from their visits. At Eagle Creek with Condie's enjoying the Fall colors.

Trip to the Covered Bridge Festival with the Condie's. Andy was a supertrooper, he'd just gotten back from an exhausting trip from WVU and then had played chauffer all Saturday long! He managed to do it with a smile (that IS a smile right?)-love you, Lou!

We saw several different bridges and I am honestly forgetting the name of this one! They were all really cool and you could drive through some of them which was fun.

Hanging with the Louthains

Going for bike rides

Playing air hockey at Jump-n-play

There isn't room for me to write how grateful Iam for my parents and for my in-laws. They are both so fabulous. We had such a blast with both of them, , wrestling, playing horsey, seeing some sights, playing trains, hanging out, playing games and going out to dinner (minus the kids!). Both spoiled our kids rotten. Jax is standing next to me right now and he saw the above picture and said, "That's when we went to the inflatables! We sure had fun with them!" I think that sums it up right there!! Keep the visits coming guys, and we'll keep a bed here for you!
