Kissing During Study Hall

I've been a part of an incredible mommy-run preschool this year. It has been a lot of work and a lot of fun. I am blown away by the creative and cool things all the other moms have come up with and how much Jackson has learned this year. So this is my props to Mindy, Ashley, Rachel and Anna-looking forward to next year!
Well, a couple of weeks ago I taught for the last time. ("Letter Z" and "color/shapes")...just wanted you to notice the Zebras are made up of at least 5 shapes! :) I usually have one of the other moms watch Eliza, because she tends to sit RIGHT in front of every book I try to read, and causes chaos. But Natalie was out of town, and I wanted to see if Eliza had "grown up a bit"...well it turns out, she gre up alright- she bypassed "toddler" and went straight to "teenager"!!

Grant and Eliza have a history. All of Jackson's friends are super great to Eliza. But from birth, (and I am not exaggerating this) Grant has always watched out for Eliza and taken special interest in her and played with her. (Grant's parents are part of the weekly "Date Night Co-op" Andy and I do, so they've been buddies for years.)
At Tuesday's preschool, all the kids wanted to "crab walk" from their opening learning stations to circle time. All the kids quickly made their way into the front room, but not Grant. Eliza was distressed because she couldn't do it and I found him kneeling beside her trying to coach her, "You're doing great Liza, just put your arm and legs like this!" And he didn't leave her side until I manually helped her take a step or two, then carried her to circle time.
On Thursday's preschool, Eliza was just content to stand over Grant's shoulder during opening learning stations and every time he put a puzzle piece together she'd say, "Good job Gant." And pat him on the back. Well, her support was duly rewarded, and caught on film!
Joking aside, I know they are just two sweet innocent kids who care for eachother, and I am grateful my kids have so many awesome positive influences in their life!...
But won't this make such a great blackmail picture when these kids are grow up!
