October 2010-Halloween Edition

Jack and Leslie came down for Halloween! Yaah! We did so many Halloween-esk activities with the kids (library trick or treat, Zoo Boo trick or treat, ward carnival and trunk or treat, Washington Township park trick or treat) we didn't actually go "trick or treating" with the kids around our neighborhood.  The kids had so much fun hanging out on the front porch handing out candy that they almost attacked people with our bucket of treats!!

Zoo Boo with Jax, "C.C." and Liza

The Zoo has a new cheetah exhibit and there's this track you can "race a cheetah" ie you race against how fast they can run.

There were 3 Snow Whites and 2 Bumblebees at the ward party.
Below Trick or Treating at Washington Park with friends.  We'd never done this before, but it was such a beautiful walk through the wooded paths, I think it will have to be a new tradition.
One of Eliza most favorite people in all the world, Allison.

We painted instead of carving pumpkins this year.  Super fun with grandparents!

A little Halloween tale about true friends...
Once Upon A TIME...there was a little shark and a little snow white who were best friends.

Snow White knew the shark would always be there for her...Now the two friends are ready to go trick or treating.

Uh oh, the shark lost his balloon!

What will he do? His Daddy says, "Only one per kid, buddy." And the shark is sad...
Don't worry! Super Snow White flies to the rescue!!
Without a thought for herself, Snow White offers her balloon to the shark so he isn't sad anymore!

What a fun Halloween.

  1. I love their costumes, especially Jackson's! Bauer still talks about Jackson as Bumblebee. In fact, we were just talking about you guys yesterday and how you used to live in Michigan!
