Jammies n' boots!

Eliza: Obsessions of a 1 year old, soon to be two year old..."princy book" (Snow White Princess book), "Baby Jane"(fav doll), sitting in my lap to eat (getting a particular gleam in her eye when she steals something off my plate and eats it), "choc" (all things chocolate), "need dance hat mommy" (rarely a day goes by that we don't bust a groove in the kitchen at some point-and she has a particular hat she likes to put on to do it), "I help too" (could also be "I want too" "me do too"-basically if Jackson or I are doing something we better involve her as well!) and last but most definitely not least..."jammies n' boots"!! It is a battle to get her out of her beloved jammies, and everytime I put her down for a nap she asks for the jammies to be put back on (I don't), and often when I change her diaper she'll point to that top drawer and plead for the return of her jammies!! Once in a while I give in and let the girl go out in her jammies. She also loves to put on boots...I bought a 2nd hand pair of boots that are three sizes too big for her and she'll dig them out and put them on and insist on wearing them (hence the reason they were hidden in the first place!) Below are a couple of pics of her in my boots. She has such a love for jammies n' boots that we made a up a song to sing about them...
and yes, she loves singing songs about her jammies, while dancing in her boots!! "Boots and jammies-jammies and boots. We love em so much we sing root a toot toot!
Jammies and boots-boots and jammies...
We stomp outside with a whammie wham whammie!!"
I love you Eliza,
even if you're a rugrat sometimes!

  3. Adorable! I only have boys that are really into cars and putting everything in their mouths- even dirt! Yes, that includes my 2 1/2 year old.
