Below are a few pics of some fun things we've gotten to do recently. Going to the Museum and Zoo with Eliza at this age was so fun, it was like she'd never been to either places before! She was so excited on the carousal at the Children's Museum. I think we did it three times.

"Eliza, what does a tiger say?" "Grrrr!"

The museum has this "Barbie" exhibit, as you can guess, not much there for the boys! (I mean
not even a "man bag"!) Jackson and Natalie had fun playing photographer and "DJ" for the fashion show, though.

Now, Eliza-well she had no problem strutting her stuff on the red carpet!

We headed to the Bob the Builder exhibit next...I was surprised to find out Jackson wasn't my only child who knew all the names of "the Can Do Crew"...

Natalie (Jackson's friend) was soo cute with Eliza this day! They held hands walking around with eachother for most of the day. I definitely attribute the fact that Eliza is obsessed with Princesses and can name all the Princesses, to all of Jackson's girl friends Eliza gets to roll with! Which reminds me I really should get her a Princess dress-up of her own for her 2nd Birthday...

Anyhow, we've had some beautiful days lately and taken full advantage of them. Last Friday we met Andy downtown at the zoo (he's within a 5min walk from it). It was such a fun day...

Watching panguins...

Petting sharks...

Pointing to Blue Rays...

Defending ourselves from sharks!

Yeah, some days all the "stars align"-the weather is beautiful, your day is free of set plans, you spontaneously take a trip to the zoo, you hubbie meets ya for lunch and your kids get along in perfect harmony, hold hands without even being asked...sigh...now that is a good day to docuement! (oh, except for the part where Eliza put her hands in her pockets and tripped-sending her right onto ther face/forehead!! Instant goose egg! But this little girl is one tough cookie!)

The following pictures are my attempt at trying to capture the kids in their Easter wear...

You can barely see the remaining "owies" from the trip to the zoo...

I accidently cut off his feet-but he's jumping!

making silly faces, was my only way of gettingthem to smilw at the same time...

First day out with the bikes...

If you've read the previous blog-you will not be surprised by the fact that Eliza is wearing her boots...the ones that are three sizes to big for her...the ones she LOVES!

I seriously don't think I could love Little Liza B. anymore than I do right now. The girl has my heart!

Alright Jax, you're right so do you!

Chocolate puddin'-definitely warrants a shirtless lunch...oh yes and the boots of course!
I will be the first one to admit that there are times when my kids push me to the limits...Jackson has this tantrum scream that comes out once in awhile-it instantly "flips my crazy switch" and drives me insane, and Z.Z., well she knows how to lose her cool too...but then there are days and sometimes when your lucky-weeks when you just never want to stop hugging your children because you love them so much and you hope if you hold them tight enough they won't grow a day older...days that feel like a little slice of heaven...
100% adorable! you are such a fun momma.
ReplyDeleteI just had a moment like that tonight when Cadance fell asleep in my arms when I was putting her to bed (which almost NEVER happens)! I just held her and stared at her precious face for the longest time.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you posted, I've been thinking it's been WAY too long since we've seen you guys! I'm looking into a crystal ball and I see someone making a trip in the near future...
too adorable! lol
ReplyDeletepretty sure my fav pic is of eliza doin her "grrrr" face hahaha :]
miss ya!!
<3
What a cute post! Your kiddo's are darling! I agree with you that motherhood can be exhausting but it's those little moments that make it all worth it. Myah and Eliza are the exact same age and I too am just loving this stage. Having an almost 7 year old just makes me sad because I swear just yesterday he was only 2. Why does it have to seem to fly by so quickly! I guess we just have to squeeze them lots and enjoy every minute! Oh....Jamie and I went to Mexico for Kayte's wedding. You and Andy should have come for a Hawaiian reunion. It was fun. It was good to see her. You'll have to check out my pictures...just posted them.
ReplyDeleteLoving all the fun pics! Your kids are gorgeous and growing up way too fast! The fashion show with the feather boa is my fav picture of Eliza- such a girly, girl. And that Jackson...what a charmer. Love his hair- what a lucky little guy!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the fun you are having. We miss you guys!
I love your kids so, so much.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe the shark got close enough for Jackson to touch, and you actually got a picture at just the right moment!
ReplyDeleteLove 'em all, and you too, of course!
Darling post, darling kids!
